Small Groups

Chapel Hill’s flagship adult ministry program, Zoe Groups are small adult groups who meet at home or church each week for spiritual formation, discipleship and community.  Individual groups generally meet on a weekly basis at various times throughout the week. Winter 2018 sessions begin January 8. Visit our Zoe Groups Page to learn more.

Study Groups and Classes

Sunday adult groups and classes at Chapel Hill are organized around topics of study. They are open to all, so you are welcome to join at any time! The Nursery provides childcare for ages 0-4 on Sunday mornings and Thursday evening classes.


The Seekers

Rev. Dr. Jerry Vogt is Chapel Hill’s Pastor of Congregational Care. Join him in his ongoing Adult Bible study class. The group is now focusing on First Timothy.

Kingdom Living: The Teachings of Dallas Willard

Sundays, 11 AM | Upper Room

Led by Trevor
Rather than study Willard’s writings, which are often inaccessible to the average congregant, this class uses videos, podcasts and other online media to facilitate study and discussion.  Studies will focus on a series of Willard lectures with breaks in between to allow newcomers to join afresh without feeling left behind.


Heaven’s Belles

Heaven’s Belles is a fellowship of ladies who love the Lord and each other as they grow in faith, praying faithfully with each other through various book studies. The Belles are currently at work on An Extra Mile, the fourth book in Sharon Garlough Brown’s Sensible Shoes series.  Join this ongoing women’s book study!

Start your day off right in this ongoing Bible Study with coffee and doughnuts! We study the Scriptures and rotate facilitators every two weeks. We are an eclectic group with various religious backgrounds and ages ranging from 30s to 80s. Therefore, all men are welcome to this ongoing inter-generational Men’s Bible Study/Book Study.


Mothers of Young Children

Calling all Mothers of Young Children to an adult group made for you! Jen Hinz facilitates this book study. Members take turns leading discussion about the many ups and downs of motherhood during the baby, toddler, and childhood years as they share ideas and support from the book, the Bible, and each other! Nursery available for ages 4 and under.


Women of the Word

Join Pastor Jill and women of all ages to study the gospel of Mark! This study will focus primarily on the biblical text.  Participants who want to go deeper and study more may also purchase and read “Mark for Everyone” by NT Wright.  Join us for a time of learning, scripture, sharing, and relationships!

Spiritual Friendship Group

Spiritual Friendship Group is an ongoing women’s book study facilitated by Arlene Amis and group members. On March 21, Spiritual Friendship Group takes up An Extra Mile by Sharon Garlough Brown of Sensible Shoes. Meetings are held at Larksfield Place, 7373 E. 29th St. N. We welcome all ladies who are in need of spiritual friendships.


Making Marriage Work Better Than Ever

Dr. Ben Staley and Denise Staley present an eight-week course on making your marriage better using Dr. John Gottman’s  Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work. Learn what research shows can make any marriage work better by applying biblical principles to solving the challenges faced by couples under the pressures and stress of everyday life. Required material: Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, by Dr. John Gottman. Nursery available for ages 0-4. Register for this class.
