The Klothes Kloset program provides free clothing for infants, children, and adults. The store is open three days a week. Families may be served once each month. The program serves approximately 20,000 families each year.
Through the generosity of an anonymous donor, area children receive school uniforms just before the school year begins. To qualify, a child must show proof of enrollment in a school that requires uniforms.
You may donate clean, gently used or new clothing Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and on Saturday’s from 9:00 a.m. – Noon.
The program is a ministry of United Methodist Open Door.

Volunteer for Klothes Kloset
United Methodist Open Door needs volunteers in the Klothes Kloset to sort clothing and stock shelves. Interested individuals, families, groups and students can make a difference! You can help just once or sign up for a regular schedule, monthly, weekly, daily, or whatever fits in with your lives. So if you would like to volunteer at Open Door, please call Tim Stead, Coordinator of Volunteers at 316-267-4201. Or Email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
