April 15 Resurrection 5K: Who/What?
An annual tradition, Chapel Hill’s Resurrection 5K gathers together everygeneration for a fun run and walk! Bring your stroller, your kids, grandparents, and get ready to enjoy the time together in this non-competitive event! Let’s see who can get the most generations of a family to do the walk/run!
Get up early on Earth Day, Sunday April 22. Join us at Chapel Hill before church for registration at 7:45 a.m. We start the 5K in the circle drive with a Kids’ Dash around Chapel Hill Circle at 8:15 a.m. The Walk/Run then begins before 8:30 a.m. Please park in the north parking lot. You are welcome to wear your workout gear in church as the Youth lead us in worship.
As we prepare to celebrate Easter, we are called to remember the resurrection of Christ! In this event we honor our bodies and the bodies of others as we come together in a community to run, walk, stroll or cheer! Even if you don’t travel the route, you can cheer on others! The Health and Wholeness ministry encourages participants to donate a suggested registration fee of $10 to support youth ministry of health and wholeness, missions and camps!
