A sermon series for Lent
February 18 – March 18
The Lord’s Prayer
When the disciples of Jesus asked him to teach them how to pray, his response was to teach them a prayer – the most powerful prayer we can ever utter. The Lord’s Prayer or the Our Father, depending on your Christian tradition, is a pattern to prayer that encompasses everything that stresses or troubles us. A wise person once said the Lord’s Prayer is Christianity in summary. Lent is a time to go deeper spiritually. This sermon series on the Lord’s Prayer will teach us how to live more deeply in the Kingdom of God, on earth, even as it is in heaven.
